We’re Getting Hitched!
16th May 2026
We’re opting for a low-fuss, fun-filled, celebration with our nearest and dearest (that’s you!). We love Brisbane, and it makes for a somewhat central location for our geographically dispersed loved ones.
Join us for a civil ceremony at the Brisbane registry, followed by a long-lunch at one of our favourite restaurants.
Cocktail attire. Chuck on your Sunday best and have some fun with colour!
| Ceremony | Lunch |

Extra Curriculars
Let’s make the most of the weekend!
Friday 15th at Merthyr Bowls Club from 3:00pm
The Merthyr Bowlo is a Brisbane icon. Join us for an afternoon of barefoot bowls, drinks, and dinner overlooking the Brisbane River. Bowls will be happening from 3pm-5pm, casual canapé style dinner featuring meat raffles and trivia from 5pm-8:30pm.
Food and bowls are on us, just buy your own drinks.
Sunday 17th at New Farm Park from 11:00am
Come and soothe your sore head at our recovery BBQ. We will prop up in New Farm Park from 11am onwards. Music, Finska, frisbee and food will be provided. Please BYO drinks.
Kiddos are most welcome at Friday and Sunday’s extra curriculars!
Please let us know if you plan on attending either Friday or Sunday (or both) so we can confirm numbers.
RSVP
Please let us know if you are coming and you'd like to be there for any extra curriculars before February 14th 2026 so we can confirm numbers with the restaurant.

Travel
Whether you’re driving an hour up the road, or flying across the Pacific, we are beyond grateful that you’re coming to celebrate with us.
We recommend staying in Fortitude Valley or New Farm. These areas are central, close to both the ceremony and reception, and offer great dining, bars, coffee, shopping, etc. Accommodation options vary from basic rooms, to luxury hotels.
Public transport options in Brisbane are really good. If you are planning on flying to BNE, you will not need a hire car to get around the city as there are plenty of trains, buses, electric scooters (yes, lol), and Ubers.

Kiddos
As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is adults only. If you’re planning to travel to Brisbane with the kids, we kindly ask you arrange for a babysitter for Saturday’s festivities. You’re most welcome to bring the kids to Friday and Sunday’s activities.
Gifts etc.
Many of you are traveling across the country and the globe to celebrate with us. We are so grateful for this. Your presence means the absolute world to us and is all we ask for. Please, no gifts.
